A Märzen style beer with 2 additions of pure, Grade-A, 100% maple syrup from Ginter’s Corner Tap ‘N’ Sap in Crandon, WI. We made 2 batches adding the syrup at various times. Which side of the boat would you rather be on? Starboard or Port?
Challenge: Create an authentic Vienna Lager brewed by the first German brewers in Mexico City. Research showed that they added some local flavor to their recipes resulting in a beer the locals could call their own. This collaboration of cultures resulted in one of our favorite styles to brew. ¡Salud!
Na Zdrowie! Polish for Cheers! Pronounced Nas-dro-v-yea. Now that you know, say it with Gusto! Sweet, malty, and moderately hopped, an easier drinking beer compared to today’s hop forward profiles. With this in mind, we put our West Coast Pale Ale twist on this classic by adding a hop profile matching Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale, an American craft brewing legend.
Designed with the spirit of the Forty-Eighters in mind, this twist on a traditional Hefeweizen pays homage to the intellectual development they pursued through the arts. By adding a dose of blood orange to our Hefe, we feel they would be proud of our approach.
Secret Hero, an Elderflower Golden Ale, designed to honor all the women in our lives. The backbone of this beer is a clean malt bill, hopped exclusively with Pink Boots blend, and elderflower (also known as a secret hero in folklore). Fun Fact: the beer name applauds Mildred Fish-Harnack, a Milwaukee native, who was known as Germany’s Secret Hero.
Pale Ales usually involve some crazy amount of varieties of hops. We took a different approach. We added local honey to this West Coast style Pale Ale. At the heart of this beer is a mid-fermentation infusion of honey from our friends at Mallory Meadows in Eagle, WI.
This classic German lager was designed to be a tip of the hat to the original brewers who settled in Milwaukee and brought their craft with them. A balanced beer that is malty, mildly sweet, and slightly hopped to create an easy drinking, every day beer, for any occasion.
