Our Beers

Munich Helles

This classic German lager was designed to be a tip of the hat to the original brewers who settled in Milwaukee and brought their craft with them. A balanced beer that is malty, mildly sweet, and slightly hopped to create an easy drinking, every day beer, for any occasion.

ABV: 5.6% | IBU: 20

Pale Ale

Pale Ales usually involve some crazy amount of varieties of hops. We took a different approach. We added local honey to this West Coast style Pale Ale. At the heart of this beer is a mid-fermentation infusion of honey from our friends at Mallory Meadows in Eagle, WI.

ABV: 7.2% | IBU:27

PPA  (Polish Pale Ale)

Know what IPA stands for? India Pale Ale. It’s where the beer was headed from England. More hops = better preservation = fresher beer in India. In our case, we exclusively used Polish hops in our recipe. Not for delivery to Poland though. The result? A lighter version of an IPA, with more bite than a Pale Ale. We introduce to you, a Polish Pale Ale.

 ABV: 6.2% | IBU:34

Red Ale

Leinie’s Red was a favorite growing up. Lumberman Red is our take on that classic. Characteristics of the original with a deep red copper appearance, malt forward profile, caramel sweetness, and a hint of bitterness

ABV: 4.7% | IBU:19

Secret Hero

Golden Ale

Secret Hero, an Elderflower Golden Ale, designed to honor all the women in our lives and to raise a glass to those that continue to demand better. The backbone of this beer is a clean malt bill, hopped exclusively with this year's Pink Boots blend, and elderflower (also known as a secret hero in folklore). Fun Fact: the beer name applauds Mildred Fish-Harnack, a Milwaukee native, who was known as Germany's Secret Hero.

ABV: 4.6% | IBU:23

Blood Orange Hefeweizen

Designed with the spirit of the Forty-Eighters in mind, this twist on a traditional Hefeweizen pays homage to the intellectual development they pursued through the arts. By adding a dose of blood orange to our Hefe, we feel they would be proud of our approach.

ABV: 4.5% | IBU:10

Pale Ale

Na Zdrowie! Polish for Cheers! Pronounced Nas-dro-v-yea. Now that you know, say it with Gusto! Sweet, malty, and moderately hopped, an easier drinking beer compared to today’s hop forward profiles. With this in mind, we put our West Coast Pale Ale twist on this classic by adding a hop profile matching Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale, an American craft brewing legend.

ABV: 6% | IBU: 40

Mexican Vienna Lager

Challenge: Create an authentic Vienna Lager brewed by the first German brewers in Mexico City. Research showed that they added some local flavor to their recipes resulting in a beer the locals could call their own. This collaboration of cultures resulted in one of our favorite styles to brew. ¡Salud!

ABV: 4.7% | IBU: 2

Cream Ale

This brew was inspired by Mark di Suvero’s creation, The Calling, the orange I-beam sunburst found at Museum Center Park. This year’s variant (and our first) was designed after Jake’s favorite bread recipe. This special brew infuses a combination of local honey, Door County cherries, WI cranberries, and FL oranges into our Cream Ale.

ABV: 8.7% | IBU: 13

Rusty Maple

A Märzen style beer with 2 additions of pure, Grade-A, 100% maple syrup from Ginter’s Corner Tap ‘N’ Sap in Crandon, WI. We made 2 batches adding the syrup at various times. Which side of the boat would you rather be on?

Starboard: ABV: 5.3% | IBU:21
Port: ABV: 5.9% | IBU:21

MDCCCX (1810)

You Started it!

Maple Nut Brown

Our Anniversary Brew collaboration with our friends at Enlightened Brewing. This was the first beer ever brewed in this storied brew space. Straight forward nut brown using our house maple syrup from Crandon, WI. Memories of Newcastle come to mind with a dose of sweetness.

ABV: 5.5% | IBU:21

DinÁmica Dolores

This brew pays homage to Dolores Huerta, one of our nation’s most important labor & civil rights leaders. Friends at Chile Line Brewery in Santa Fe developed the brew and assisted us with developing our version. Smoked Beechwood malt and hatch chile bring a balanced blend of heat and smoke. ¡Salud!

ABV: 6.2% | IBU: 18

Double Ringer

Look out! This porter is flying at you like a jart headed for your dome. Luckily, this Porter won’t be banned for impaling your heart. It may, however, find a special place in your heart for its roasted, chocolate, caramel malt profile with approachable bitterness.

ABV: 4.6% | IBU: 20

Easily drinkable with a ton of character and flavor. The flavor is just like the 4-faced clock north of us, big, and the color resembles the nightly glow of the clock tower once considered the Polish Moon. Always a friendly reminder of the warmth of our city and its inhabitants.

ABV: 4.7% | IBU:19

Bloody Third

Dry Irish Stout

This beer was developed to highlight the original Irish stout style, sans nitrogen. Roasted, dark, bitter, and somewhat dry with notes of coffee and chocolate

ABV: 4.1% | IBU:32

Aguante Agave

Mexican Pale Lager

Strength, grit, determination, endurance. That sums up what it took to brew this beer. After several postponed brew days, Renee and Tricia pressed forward with the spirit of Mayahuel, the Aztec Goddess of Agave, by their side. As the folklore concludes, Mayahuel awakens as The Maguey (Agave) which is a symbol of passion and transformation. The result: A traditional Mexican Pale Lager with a sweet touch of blue agave and citrusy hints of lime.

ABV: 5% | IBU: 12

Eight Hours

“8 hours for work, 8 hours for rest, 8 hours for what we will.”

1886, in Bay View, a stand-off with workers demanding a better way of life led to one of WI’s bloodiest massacres.. This beer is an example of a straight forward, no frills, traditional Hefe. By stressing the yeast, our version enhances the sought after banana profile found in this style. So, sit back, enjoy a pint and celebrate those who fought and sacrificed for improved working conditions.

ABV: 4.7% | IBU: 10

Bigote Grande

Mexican Dark Ale

Raphael Baez was recruited to Milwaukee in the 1880s by the C.D.Hess Opera Company and was one of Milwaukee's first Mexican immigrants. As a successful organist at local churches and performer at the Atheneum, Baez became Marquette University's first Mexican professor as a music teacher. To honor his legacy, we developed a version of a beer with deep Mexican roots, Negra Modelo, due to its depth of character like the man himself.

ABV: 4.7% | IBU:23

English Strong Ale

A collaboration between a Milwaukee & Manitowoc brewery harkens us back to a time our two cities shared a connection through the tanning industry. This time the link is through barley & hops. It’s our belief working together makes us all stronger. So, an English Strong seemed the perfect beer for this collab. Malty, slightly sweet with notes of caramel, toffee, dried fruit, nuts and an approachable alcohol  warmth.

ABV: 8.6% | IBU: 44

South Side Crusher

Cream Ale

Brewed for and released at Crusherfest 2023 in South Milwaukee. A tasty cream ale made with vanilla, honey and orange all mixed together to put your tastebuds in a full nelson. This beer pays homage to Reginald Lisowski AKA the Crusher "The Wrestler Who Made Milwaukee Famous." Pairs well with Polka and forearm shivers

ABV: 5.9%

Originally brewed by the Paulaner monks in Munich to survive the fasting period of Lent as a form of “liquid bread”.  In keeping with tradition of the original name, Salvator (Savior), breweries pay tribute to the original beer by ending the name of their version with an “ator”. Thus we present to you Torzinator. Prost!

ABV: 7% | IBU: 21

Belgian Black IPA

A collaboration with our friends at Starkweather in Madison, which is precisely 76 miles from our brewery. Weird coincidence that the ABV came in at 7.6%, and the release party was on 7/6? What can you expect in this one? A glass of dark chocolate, coffee, dark candi sugar sweetness, smooth mouthfeel, and a heavy dose of hops to balance everything out. Santé! Proost! Skål! Prost!

ABV: 7.6% | IBU: 67

Polish Victory Lap

Polish Pilsner

This classic Polish lager was designed to be a testament to the brews that followed the Polish immigrants in Milwaukee. Those brews include Pilsner flagships from Tyskie, Żywiec, Okocim, and Warza. To stay true to style, we imported select hops from Poland. What you’ll find is a light, smooth, sweet, slightly bitter, refreshing beer. Say no more and say hello to Beer flavored Beer!

ABV: 4.5% | IBU: 27
